u could do a salad station dats wut i did at my brides wedding and it was a hit. we had 2 big stainless steele bowls and silver tounges to serve the salad out of. and the rest of the table was decorated with fake crystals and rose pedals and the toppings were in diff sized glass bowls sitting around tha salad bowls and the salad dressing was in crysal gravy bowls. for appetizers u can do mini stuffed cresents(stuff with your fav meat and cheese) or mini kabobs( make three diff kinds of chicken or three of your fav food or fruit cut it small enough to fit on a tooth pic or u can cut kabob sticks into 3's) hope i helped

Best appetizer ever is Bacon wrapped water chestnuts. Its always the first thing ate at all get together.
Also what i did at my sisters wedding for appetizers is we bought different kinds of breads and dips. its more unique than the average crackers and cheese deal. We bought Hawaiian bread and spinach dip and it was a hit. we set 1 -2 on each table to munch on while they were waiting to eat. even people who dont care for spinach loved it!

Bacon and water chestnut recipe:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F
Cut bacon in half. Wrap one slice of bacon around each chestnut. Secure the bacon with a toothpick. Arrange the water chestnut wraps in a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Bake the water chestnut wraps 45 minutes. or until bacon is done.

Croissant Chicken Salad

Buy a rotisserie cooked chicken at the nearest market. Remove skin and bones. Add in a bowl with 3 green apples, some walnuts, some dry cranberries or cherry's in a jar, honey and mayonnaise to your liking. Chop up apples and walnuts and mix all ingrediants together. Bye some croissants cut opened and fill with chicken salad to your liking. Cut in 3 or 4 pieces. If they fall apart you can put a cute pick on top. Place on a dish and it will be the talk of the day. You can also use chicken from a can. I personally cook chicken breast. Yummy. But above will do.

AND/OR

FRUIT SALAD
Make a fruit salad. 2 large cans of mixed fruit. 1 medium can of peaches. 1 medium can of pineapple. MAKE SURE YOU DRAINE OUT THE JUICE. 1 large 32 oz of sour cream (add a 16 oz just in case). 1 pound bag of walnuts (or pecans or whatever). 1 pound bag of sweet coconut flakes. 1 pound bag of marshmallows. Mix it all in a LARGE bowel and break nuts up. It will only take you about 15 minutes to put it all together. Make it when you get there. Just make sure the sour cream is cold. They will lick their chops!!
