Question: Gets HOT during parties. Trying to figure out how to cool the place down!?
When we throw parties at my fraternity it gets HOT. I tried renting some industrial fans to cool the place down but they had next to no effect. I'm running out of ideas on how to get the temperature down - help please?!

OPEN THE WINDOWS!

Open windows at both ends of your house/apartment so that you can get some air-flow going through your place. Try to stick one fan in the window facing inward, and then another fan on the other side of your place, but facing outward, and it'll definitely get the air moving. Maybe another fan to sit in the room (not in the windows). You could also look into getting a window unit AC, which is much cheaper than having an actual AC/central air installed.
Oh, and try putting a big bowl of ice in front of the fan. It makes the air pretty cool!
