Well, you don't mention if you have a theme or not, but that would be helpful. I mean, I assume you're having a cake--whatever that's gonna be (a character or whatever, say if it's a ladybug cake) then you could search games that tie into your theme.

Pin the tail is a good choice, the only thing I thought when reading about the gift game is that unless you are gonna "tweak" it so that every kid gets to "win" once, you may have some pouting kids.

It would be good if you could come up with something for them to make, like the cupcake decorating idea or powdered candy straws or whatever. I know with this age group you probably don't wanna get too complex or messy but kids love to make things. Even if you just put paper down as a tablecloth with some buckets of crayons and let the kids draw on it when they arrive or during "down time" or whatever. Again, if you have a theme you can find something to make that coordinates with your theme.

One party we went to, each child got a small canvas and could paint it however they wanted, we did this as we arrived so that there was time for it to dry during the party. The parents could take it home and frame it. It was a hit, although it would be a little messy for this age group.

Here's a site that has tons of craft ideas for different age groups:

cupcakes r great. u can have each kid decorate their own. jus set out some candy sprinkles or whatever. pass out lil bottles of bubbles. idk what the budget is but kids love bubbles so it seems. u can get like lil juice boxes for them cuz they never finish drinks. u can even cut hot dogs n hamburgers in half. they never eat their food. or get a person to make balloon animals. thats cute.
