I need to know a good menu for a BBQ party this weekend.?!

Question: I need to know a good menu for a BBQ party this weekend.?
Hello everyone,

I will be hosting a BBQ party at my place this weekend. Could you please suggest me some ideas for the menu that I should be having.

It's chicken BBQ, no ribs, no sausage, other meats, or red meat (steak, lamb, etc); purely chicken.

My budget is $200. I will be having around 20 guests. Could you please recommend me an assortment of items that I should serve? Also, what all game ideas can I have?

Please help. Thank you. :)

Chicken hindquarters, thighs and legs, are the best for BBQing. And the brand is really important. I found an Asian grocery store with the chicken hindquarters as big as some whole chickens I've cooked --- HUGE! A good deal too --- only 69¢ a pound compared to Foster Farms at 98¢.

Foster Farms chicken is over rated --- but the discount chicken in most grocery stores --- is just plain creepy.

Tyson is always a good bet but can be pricey --- and not as good as chicken from the Asian Grocery store I’ve found.

Stick the hindquarters into a pot with water and salt and get them up to near boil --- turn off the heat and let set for 10 minutes.

The idea isn't to cook the chicken but just to heat it up to make the skin easy to remove and let a 'lil salt seep in.

Drain the water and remove the skins. Marinate (look on the shelf in the grocery store) over night in the fridge.

Chicken is healthier with the skins removed and will receive more benefit from the marinate.

The nice thing about dark chicken meat is you microwave it --- easily with exceptional results. You can't do that with white meat.

If you nuke first there's no worries about the chicken being done --- just cover with BBQ sauce and grill till it's warm and has a few grill marks. Turn frequently and don't over grill --- since there is no skin on the chicken you can make the exposed meat hard if not careful.

Garlic bread, beans, pasta, corn on the cob salad or coleslaw are all great sides.
With a pound of Kidney beans, a pound of Pinto beans and crock-pot you can feed the whole neighborhood.

Don't forget the watermelon for desert.
