The chocolate fountain you are using should have recommended amounts of chocolate and other needed ingredients.
I would check the manufacturers information if you have it.
My guess is that just the chocolate should be sufficient without adding oil. Once the chocolate heats up it should be pretty free flowing as long as it stays moving and stays warm.

Mix 1 c. heavy cream with 1 1/2 lbs. chocolate. Cook over low heat until melted. Add Cambozola cheese, stirring constantly until melted. For dipping: Toast 1 c. sweet coconut until golden brown and crush 1 c. frosted flakes into a dust. Dip strawberries, banana chunks, pineapple chunks, and melon into chocolate fondue recipe, then dip into frosted flakes dust and toasted coconut or sprinkle over fruit with a spoon. Serves 8. -- Modify this chocolate fondue recipe for use in chocolate fountains by adjusting the quantity to accommodate a home-model chocolate or commercial chocolate fountain, and substituting light cream or milk for a portion of the heavy cream so that the mixture flows smoothly over the fountain tiers.
