Question: Help with planning a 17th birthday party?

I'm having my 17th birthday in December, New Years Eve, woo! So this question is pretty early in the asking. I'm not sure I technically want to have it New Years Eve, though, because people tend not to me able to come. I haven't had a birthday party since I was about in 6th grade, because I fail at pulling off great ones. I was thinking about maybe an Alice in Wonderland themed, or a mystery thing, or a scavenger hunt, but I don't want it to be kiddish. That may be asking a lot. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do?

you could have a horror theme, or depends where you live if it will be summer you could do a hawiian theme, that would be cool. will there be alcohol? have good music and good food like lollies, biscuits and dip etc. get people to bring stuff like their fav music that way everyone can enjoy variety, have a bonfire with marshmellows thats always a winner, and if you want it to be cool make a teepee from long bamboo sticks and sheets and sleep under the stars, that would be an awesome experience!

17 almost 18 and been to plenty 18th this yr haha

Get some alcohol, some chips, and some weed. 17 yr old kids would love that ****. No but seriously a scavenger hunt? Alice in wonderland would be okay but make sure yu got good food and music to dance to.
