How about a pumpkin roll made with cream cheese filling? It's similar to a jelly roll, only made like pumpkin bread and then sliced up into individual slices.

And apple cider for the drink? Maybe hot apple cider like Starbucks sells.

That's all I can think of for the "Fall / Halloween" time food thing...

Good luck.

You can make Rice Crispy treats look Halloween-ish:

Ingredients:

* 1/2 c Butter
* 10 c Crispy rice cereal
* 9 c Miniature marshmallows
* 2 c Mixture of candy corn and Indian candy corn
* 3/4 c Miniature chocolate chips
* Candy pumpkins
* Yellow and red food coloring

Preparation:
Melt butter and marshmallows; stir until smooth. In a large bowl, mix rice cereal, candy corn and miniature chips together. To marshmallow mixture, blend in 2 drops yellow food coloring and 1 drop red food coloring, adding more coloring if necessary to reach desired shade. Add marshmallow mixture to cereal mixture; stir quickly to combine. Spread on a large buttered pan; press with buttered hands. While warm, press on candy pumpkins spaced 1 to 1/2-2 inches apart. Refrigerate and cut into squares.

CATERPILLAR COCOONS:
Ingredients: (you obviously have to adjust for number of people)

* 1 8-oz. tube refrigerated crescent rolls
* 8 breakfast sausages
* 1 squeeze bottle yellow mustard

Preparation:
Preheat oven according to directions on the crescent-roll package. Prepare the sausages according to the directions on the package. Remove from frying pan and allow to cool ten to fifteen minutes. Separate the crescent-roll dough into its pre-cut triangle pieces, and lay them flat on an ungreased cookie sheet. Place one sausage on each, squeeze a thin line of mustard on each. Roll and close all ends. Bake according to package instructions.

Easy Eyeballs (just for fun)>>>
You'll need:

* 30 marshmallows
* 30 cranraisins
* Red icing writer

Assemble the eyeballs by pushing one cranraisin into the center of one marshmallow. Using the red icing writer, draw the bloodshot lines on the top and sides of the marshmallow. Allow the marshmallow eyeballs to dry before serving them-repeat process for the rest. (So you pass out 1 eyeball to everyone :D)

Drink ideas: "Ghoul-Aid" or "Drac-Cola" for soda (not breakfast-y...but hey, had to throw it in there!)
Alienade Halloween Drink>>You'll need:

* One 8-12oz. glass of lemonade; yellow
* One drop blue food coloring
* One drop green food coloring
* 3 ice cubes

This recipe is by-the-glass although you can easily adapt it for a pitcher. Put 3 ice cubes in a glass and fill with your favorite lemonade. Add one drop of blue and one drop of green food coloring. The natural color of lemonade and the mixed food coloring makes a type of iridescent glow - perfect for an easy alien drink.

Or the chocolate milk idea and call it "Count Choc-ula"

Have like waffles or pancakes with black and orange sprinkles in the mix, orange punch with toy spiders and cockroaches in it in neon orange tumblers or cups. Have a halloween cake or cupcakes or cookies. Have pizza with edible fingers on it. Or have sausages and but ketchup on one end to look like a bloody finger. Something unique. Type halloween foods in bing or googles images search and it will give you plenty off ideas. For any props order from orientaltrading.com (which has a huge amount of halloween items, especially right now). Also check out partypro.com, party city, walmart, dollar tree,etc. Whatever you decide to do make it fun and unqiue with the Halloween theme!!!

I personally use Halloween to surprise and scare people. So get some EXTRA, EXTRA, EXTRA, spicy foods that look like regular foods, and get ready to be amused. Then for the drinks, get the cups that have the glued plastic cockroach on the bottom and fill them up with water, juice, orange dyed punch, etc.

Make your Halloween party a special one!
~ hope this helps ~
P.S.: please give me the 10 points, i really could use them!

Use some dry ice to make a fun punch, Add some food coloring to you eggs.
You can use fruit punch and add ice cream to it, something fruity,
Darla S.

You can make small caramel candy apples rolled in black and orange sprinkles or brownies w/black and orange M&M's.

Drinks you could just do some hot cocoa and call it Hot Chocula.
