How to do an amzing bonfire/birthday party?!

Question: How to do an amzing bonfire/birthday party?
Ok, well for my 16th birthday party I want to do a big outside one. We have loads of paddock space and fields so it seemed a good idea, but how can I make it AMAZING! problem is it wqas going to be a sort of all age one, so how can I make it fun for little kids but also good fun for the older ones?
I was thinking of doing a bonfire, and having fireworks, and I'm looking for a band (but its all so expensive :/) but are there any other ideas you can come up with? For food I was just going to get a big table of things like pizza, coookies etc. and then lots of drinks (I'll get some beer and things- but I don't want to end up with a load of drunk teenagers!) It's a quite abig party (whole familys and things!) so I would guess maybe about 50-60 people?

A bonfire is a great idea!!! Well first make a fire pit that is large enough to fit a lot of people. To make it seem more real, try getting logs for people to sit on (for an idea watch camp rock 2, which has an awsome bonfire). To make it fun have races like potato sack race, water balloon toss, pinata, maybe rent some carnival games and activites. A great place to rent from is astro events. If you have a movie projector and a large screen, play a movie (which you can also rent). Overall look up cool things on astroevents.com, orientaltrading.com, partypro.com, walmart, target, dollar tree, etc. For the food maybe have a grill and make tons of hotdogs and hamburgers. Maybe have some salads, pizza, maybe even a vegetable tray with dip. For 16 you shouldn't be drinking beer, so maybe find a good tasting non alcoholic drink and tell them its alcoholic. That way you don't get into a lot of trouble with their parents and your parents. Fireworks are great for all ages. I hope you have fun with whatever you do and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! Remember you're only 16 once - live it up....

Food, food , and more food of all kinds and dont forget the smores and fun music

I would not have beer there just for the sake of the kids haha anyways you could atatch speakers to your mp3 or ipod or get a music transfer box which does the same thing also you could have like a dance floor with a strobe light or something it would be fun if you had some cool fireworks that the guests could light off and for food you could have like a cople coolers with like juicboxes of something for the kids and pina coladas or something for the adualts. idk how you could tie a bonfire in with this maybe you could just get rid of that idea!
