Hi, I'm wondering about ideas and suggestions regarding my upcoming birthday party?!

I'll be turning 19 in October and am looking for fun, safe, and affordable birthday party ideas (not involving alcohol/clubbing as neither my friends nor myself are comfortable with this). Last year when I turned 18, I had a pretty big celebration involving taking 9 of my good friends out for lunch and French manicures, followed by cake and movies at my home. I'm hoping to save some money this year as I'm a university student on a budget. What do you suggest? Cake, pizza, and DVDs? Or hosting an event outside as opposed to a house party?
