Best Dinner Date Recipes?!

Question: Best Dinner Date Recipes?
I am inviting my boyfriend to my house friday for dinner. I want something fun to make but not too hard.
I mainly just want recipes for dinner, but if anyone knows any super easy desserts, that would be great too!

Please don't post something like, salad then make pork, or whatever. I would love some actual RECIPES! That means with ingrediants and directions. You could include a link as well, I am sure that would also help.

Pasta is really simple, but people are always really impressed!
This is my favorite!
Ingredients
1/2 cup dry-packed sun-dried tomatoes (about 3 ounces)
1 box (16 ounces) rigatoni pasta
1-1/2 cups milk
1/4 cup tomato-basil- flavored cream cheese (such as Philadelphia)
4 ounces (4 to 6 slices) Parmesan cheese, shredded
1 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
2 teaspoons cornstarch mixed with 1 tablespoon water
1/2 cup fresh basil leaves, cut into thin strips
Freshly ground black pepper
Pinch of salt
Extra shredded Parmesan
Directions
1. Heat a large pot of lightly salted water to boiling. Carefully scoop out 1 cup and pour over sun-dried tomatoes in a small heatproof bowl. Let stand 5 minutes.
2. Meanwhile, cook rigatoni as per package directions, 14 minutes. Drain.
3. While pasta cooks, heat milk over medium heat until bubbly. Remove from heat and whisk in cream cheese, Parmesan and mozzarella until melted (mixture will be a little stringy). Stir in cornstarch-water mixture and return pan to heat. Bring to a simmer, stirring until smooth.
4. Drain and finely chop sun-dried tomatoes. Stir into pasta, along with sauce and basil. Top with a little freshly ground black pepper, a pinch of salt, and Parmesan.

Here's a good dessert:
Ingredients
1 package (17.3 ounces) of 2 frozen puff pastry sheets, thawed
1 egg beaten with 1 tablespoon water
1 package (3.4 ounces) instant banana cream pudding
1-3/4 cups half-and-half
4 cups assorted sliced fruit, such as bananas, raspberries, kiwi, figs
2 tablespoons red currant jelly
Directions
1. Heat oven to 425°F. Coat a large baking sheet with nonstick spray.
2. Place one thawed pastry sheet on a lightly floured work surface. Cut a 1-inch strip from each long side. Brush pastry with egg wash and place strips over each long edge to form a border. Brush top of border with egg wash. Prick bottom of pastry with a fork. (see Tip). Transfer to baking sheet. Repeat with remaining pastry sheet to form a second tart.
3. Bake at 425°F for 16 to 17 minutes. Transfer to wire rack to cool. Gently press down centers if puffed.
4. Prepare pudding following package directions, using half-and-half instead of milk.
5. Spread half of the pudding over each cooled pastry. Arrange a row of each type of fruit on the two pudding-topped sheets of pastry.
6. Heat jelly until melted. Brush over fruit on both tarts. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
Tip: Always prick puff pastry with a fork before baking. This allows steam to escape so the layers remain flat and compressed, creating a crisp and flaky crust.

It all looks very fancifull, but its really easy! And meat free in case hes a veg and you didn't know!

Well what are you good at cooking? I think you would come across fake or trying too hard if you make something out of league. And google the recipes if you need to.
Lasagna is a good one! Also depends on the weather in your area that day.
Oh and you know what is really much more fun. Cooking dinner together!
