Answers:

salty- chocolate drizzled popcorn
sweet- try these chocolate chip cookie dough cupcakes:
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/4 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips

1 (18.25 ounce) box yellow cake mix
1 1/3 cups water
1/3 cup canola oil
3 eggs
Directions
1.Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and sea salt; set aside. Beat the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar with an electric mixer in a large bowl until smooth. Add 1 egg and the vanilla extract and beat until smooth. Mix in the flour mixture until just incorporated. Fold in the chocolate chips; mixing just enough to evenly combine. Form the dough into tablespoon-sized balls; place onto a baking sheet, and freeze until solid, about 2 hours.
2.Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line 24 muffin cups with paper liners.
3.Beat 3 eggs in a large bowl with an electric mixer to break up. Add the cake mix, water, and canola oil; continue beating for 2 minutes on medium speed. Spoon into the prepared cupcake liners, filling each 2/3 full. Place a frozen cookie dough ball on the top center of each cupcake.
4.Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the cake portion of the cupcake (not the cookie dough ball) comes clean, about 20 minutes. Cool in the pans for 10 minutes before removing to cool completely on a wire rack.

-or-

cupcakes in a cone:
Ingredients
1 (18.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix
24 flat bottomed ice cream cones
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 ounce colored candy sprinkles
Directions
1.Prepare cake mix according to directions. Fill each cone about 3/4 full of batter, up to first ridge. Place cones in the cups of a cupcake pan or on cookie sheets.
2.Bake at 400 degrees F (205 degrees C) for 15 to 18 minutes.
3.Place 10 chocolate chips on top of each warm cone, and in a minute or two spread melted chocolate over top. Decorate with candies.

and for healthy have fruit salad with a dip (like coolwhip, cream cheese, marshmallow dip, chocolate sauce)

Puppy chow

There are variations - I use crispex because of the shape and they have less sugar than Life cereal

Puppy Chow

1/4 cup butter
3/4 cup peanut butter
1 cup chocolate chips
vanilla

8 cups Crispix cereal (or Chex)
2 cups powdered sugar

- Mix peanut butter, chocolate chips and butter in a pan and melt. Add vanilla.
- In a large bowl, pour melted mixture over crispix cereal, mixing well.
- Put powdered sugar in a large paper sack and add cereal mixture.
- Fold top of paper sack and shake to coat evenly.

You can just put them in tupperware with a lid and shake the powdered sugar on also.

Yummy sweet and salty:
buy some pretzel rods, and dipping Chocolate and sprinkles, or coconut, or what ever tickles your fancy that is small.

Dip the pretzel rods in the melted chocolate and roll in the coconut or sprinkle with what ever you bought.

Have done these many times, always a big hit. If you have time to do this guest always like to do their own, just have a few options for the sprinkles and do it right away when your friends get there and eat them after group. Bible study?

I would make mini whole wheat almond butter and jam sandwiches in the shapes of hearts for something healthy
For sweet I would do caramel corn

for salty I would do kale chips
