my friends are throwing us a stock the bar party. what hostess gift can I bring?!

I would bring them a really pretty plant for their house and a bottle of sparkling wine for them to enjoy later after your party. (Or if they don't drink, the plant with a box of nice chocolates.)

Cool! I would think a nice bottle stopper or bottle opener would be a nice gesture. One of my favorites is a bottle opener that's personalized. You can engrave with their names or a nice phrase (http://www.homewetbar.com/Silver-Plated-Personalized-Bottle-Opener-p-983.html). Also, a wine bottle stopper or nice opener would also work. You could also tailor your gift around their favorite spirit (do they love wine, beer, martinis??) There are lots of unique accessories that would fit the bill nicely.
