Question: My 20th Anniv.coming up in nov.I want so bad to surprise my wife.with family party any ideas. low cost please.?
I want some great gathering ideas for her family included. I dont have lots of money. I just want her to remember this day.We live in az so in november outside might work.catering might be expensive.let me know what you all think. she is special and i want her to feel special.

Depending on the number of guests, plan to handle the entree yourself...choose a main meat..Have the guests bring sides/desserts/drinks ahead of time. You can do a sign up sheet so you have all the bases covered. Get everything set up beforehand and plan to play music that brings back romantic memories for your wife. (Songs from your wedding=gold star for hubby!)

Plan to take her down memory lane, if you can. Dig up photos of you two, go into Movie Maker and create something that she'll cherish...Take YOUR song and insert your photos. You can add text and graphics...it can really be quite nice and great for that personal touch.

BBQ's can be cheap or a potluck with maybe a theme based on the year you guys met. Catering is expensive but if you can maybe have a whole pig catered and offer the sides yourself.
