What ae good entree ideas?!

Question: What ae good entree ideas?
I'm having a dinner party, fairly casual, one of the entrees I'm serving is brushetta with prosciutto, pate, quince paste and mini pickles. However I understand this isn't to everyone taste, so I want to have a safe option aswell, particularly other topping ideas for the bruschetta.

It will be platter like, so people can make there own toppings. So I guess what other things could I put on the platter that would be nice?

Thanks

Are you French? I think the confusion here is that in the United States an entree is a main course and in France (and probably other countries) an entree is a first course/appetizer. So if you re-asked this question and said you were serving bruschetta as an appetizer, etc. you might get better answers.

Meanwhile, I think you should have some cheese - crumbled gorgonzola or shaved parmesan - something people could take a little spoonful of to put on with any of your other items. Sliced fresh fig would be awesome as well (great with prosciutto and pate). You could also do the more traditonal tomato, basil, garlic, olive oil type topping.

It's good that you're asking that question because those entrees would leave me starving at the end of the night. If it's a casual dinner, why not add some penne pasta with a basil marinara sauce, mini italian meatballs and a tossed salad. Now THAT sounds appetizing.

You need to broiled chicken breast skinless that have been marinating in italian dressing. Add Parmesan cheese and bake them for 25 minutes. Cut them into lengthwise slices, so people can add them to the pasta. You need a meat, or it's going to look like you didn't spend any money on the meal. Chicken always works, and this is good. Don't ever tell them how you made the marinade. It's the chef's secret, and so....easy!

done it before
