If I Lit Some Honey on Fire......?!

Question: If I Lit Some Honey on Fire......?
Let's say I had a HUGE pool filled with honey. (Just honey. No combs.) Then, I light it on fire. Would it burn?

P.S.- I'm not lighting anything on fire, I'm just curious.

I think you'll have trouble lighting honey on fire. It's mostly water. Try this experiment: put some honey in a metal pan, put a match to it and see what happens. Sugar can certainly catch fire if you heat it hot enough over a burner, but I wouldn't recommend trying that unless you have a pan you don't mind permanently blackening, and a really good exhaust fan over your stove, and be ready for your smoke alarms to go off.

LOL :) i know beeswax is flammable so honey should burn
