Question: Does hot chocolate expire?
HELL YES IT DOES!!!! I was drinking coffee with some hot cocoa from 07, which was rather tasty before I found a small worm with an exoskeleton in my mouth. BLEHHHH. Don't drink expired hot cocoa. EVER. I cannot get the nasty feeling out of my mouth, and the horror out of my head lol.

But it seems like your hot chocolate isnt expired in a rotten way. Its merely contaminated by insects.

If you ve put the hot chocolate ( referring to the powdered kind ) into a sealable Tupperware box or a sturdy glass jar with lid, it would ve still be fine to drink

The same with flour, sugar, or other ingredients that are packed in a loose plastic / paper bag. All those ingredients can attract mites and other forms of insects, that will lay their eggs in it and hatch.

Of course hot chocolate expire, and have a incredible bad taste.
