What are the best selling foods at a fair/yard sale/etc. cheap:profit?!

Question: What are the best selling foods at a fair/yard sale/etc. cheap:profit?
I'm trying to think of some good things to make for our upcoming fund-raising sale. We need things that will sell... but don't cost to much to make/purchase... and that will hopefully bring a profit. Any ideas and/or recipes??

cheers.

eg. pretzels, corn dogs, cotton candy

Answers:

fair: popcorn, cooton candy, caramel/candy apples
yard sale: usually water and soda do well, um, not sure about food.
good luck (:

I used to do fundraiser concessions and the things that have good mark ups are:

1. Grilled corn on the cob
2. Rice bowls
3. Hot dogs
4. Breakfast burritos
5. Cut up fresh fruit / veggies

Candy always does well too.

Cookies.
Cupcakes.
Cotton candy.
Nachos.
Water.
Sodas.
Hot dogs.

POPCORN BALLS.....big cookies......nachos with cheese.....you can buy the chips and cheese in big quantities cheap at sams club or a costco.....popcorn balls arent all that expensive to make and people love them...expecially getting closer to halloween

All we ever buy at the fair is deep fried food.

The best sellers are usually whatever is new. Like the first years they had deep fried olives, snickers, avacado, etc.
