Question: What should i bring to a pasta party?
I'm on my schools cross country team and we're having a pasta party on friday. This isn't my first time at one, and i've had to bring food before, but i just can't decide what to bring this time. So far on the list::

Main Dishes
Baked Ziti
Mac and Cheese
Crock pot of Meatballs
Baked Ziti

Bread
Italian loaf

Vegetables/Salads
Caesar salad
Caesar salad

Fruit
Fruit Tray

Deserts
Ricotta cheese cookies
some other kind of dessert--not specified

Drinks

Case of soda

sorry if that was worded awkwardly. it was mostly copied and pasted from an email.
i want to bring something GOOD, but not tooooo unhealthy. and preferably not pasta or bread.

my bunch loves pepperoni pasta casserole

16 ounces dry spiral pasta(you can use another type if you would rather)
1 pound lean ground beef
1/2 ground sausage browned & drained.
2 green bell peppers, chopped
1 large onion, chopped
4 cans of pizza sauce
1 cup of water
4 ounces pepperoni sausage, sliced
2 cups shredded Italian cheese blend
Directions
1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2.Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.
3.In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until no pink shows; drain.
4. Layer starting with a little sauce and ending with sauce in a 9x13 inch pan or baking dish: pasta, ground beef, browned sausage, bell pepper, onion, pizza sauce and pepperoni; blend well. After it's layered pour the water around the edge no directly on the sauce.
5.Bake for 45 minutes or until till is heated through. Top with shredded cheese and let it set in oven for a few minutes till melted. Please let the casserole set for at least 45 minutes don't cut it immediately. It's even better the next day!

What about parmesan cheese or shredded cheese for pasta, dip for bread, & chocolate / caramel sauce for fruit

Maybe a cold pasta salad.

Spaghetti.

Roasted red potatoes with butter and rosemary.

A pesto pasta salad

Sausage and peppers (you could always get the turkey sausage for the more healthy approach).

Good luck.
