Question: I need to know all there is to do to throw a murder mystery party?

I am wanting to throw a murder mystery party for ten to 12 people. But every site I look at for ideas makes you either pay for a game or pay for the advice. Does anyone already know all the tools and stuff you need for an awsome party where I dont have to pay for it. I am short on cash but have heard great things about the mystery partys. Any help or info is welcome. Thanks

Should get heaps of hints by watching a good movie on the subject, you could try an old Alfred Hitchcock movie, might be fun to do it in period costume, hide clues for guests to find, plant a body, etc
