Question: So my sweet 16, Im really excited, but I need amazing party Ideas! Help?!?
So this town has absolutely nothing for teenagers to do, at all. There is a crappy little movie theater, a very suckish bowling alley and a rec department. Thats it. Ive used the bowling alley thousands of times for parties and its just lame. Ive had a bunch at my grandparents house that is nasty and cluttered and smells like smoke. Ew. This year I decided I wanted to have an awesome dance thing at the recreation department, but Im only gonna hev like 15 people, so it would be this tiny group in a hugeeeeee gym. Totally lame. So anything fun and creative I can make out of this little rinky dink town?

First, I have a really great website that has all kinds of decorations for transforming a room into something special. They ave all kinds of themes. Look around at this site and see if you get any ideas for transforming that gym into an amazing room:

www.shindigz.com

Then the gym might not seem to huge.

For ideas what to do with your guests inside the gym, how about getting a dance instructor that can teach everyone different styles of dancing. Some line dancing, ballroom dancing (like dancing with the stars style) hip hop, etc.

And have an area set up for a meal. Have your parents (or if you can get a caterer) set up for a meal for everyone while they are at your party.

I'm sure if you could transform that gym into looking like something else, it will be a memorable party for you and your guest...I guess you'd be the talk of the rinky dink town for a while. BTW - I live in Los Angeles - I can't imagine what living in a rinky dink town is like so I tried to give you my best advice not knowing anything other than living in this huge place.

Hey, good luck!
