how far will MENU PLANNING take you in foodservice?!
can someone please help answer my questions because its for my project and i cant find anything according too this question. pretty please? ^.^

I'm not sure what you are looking for but menu planning is usually the job of the executive chef or the restaurant mgr. You would be in management if it is your concern.
Planning to utilize your foods most efficiently with little waste.
This also narrows down what foods you order, what quantities and how many deliveries you will need during the week.
I don't know if there is such a thing as a professional menu planner or if restaurants will pay for pre-set menus but anything's possible. New restaurants may pay for menu ideas in order to make the job easier.
If you are moving into a foodservice career go to resort areas or entertainment centers that have a lot of restaurants:
Las Vegas
Branson, Mo
New Orleans
etc,etc
Just go to Culinary school!
