how to uninvite RSVP and confirmed guests to corporate event?!

Question: How to uninvite RSVP and confirmed guests to corporate event?
Due to full booking, there are 2 guests that RSVP and received confirmation of their invitation. What kind of verbiage can we send out to them stating that basically they are no longer invited?

tell them they are fired, then they wouldn't want to show up anyway

if they already got a confirmation that they are invited, its extremely rude to tell them they are now un-invited

you might want to fire anyone that would let something like this happen also... that would likely free up a couple spots for these 2 guests

You can't. Once a guest has RSVP'd and been confirmed, it's up to the HOST to take care of the overbooking as it is his/her mistake. Generally, having had to handle a lot of corporate events, 1 or 2 won't show, anyway. Problem solved.
