What do I do if too many people are going to be at my party?!

Question: What do I do if too many people are going to be at my party?
My boyfriend's friend is having his birthday party at our house and I have no idea how many people are invited. We have a 4 bedroom apartment so it's not too small but not huge. I'm just worried there are going to be too many people there and it stresses me out lol. I can't tell them not to invite people because I would feel bad. I just want to know how to keep it under control without compromising me having fun as well. We live in the middle of no where above a business so noise isn't an issue.

We are 22 and will be drinking if that helps.

Answers:

I wouldn't worry because usually only 30% of the people invited actually show up to these things. Also people will come and go in different intervals so everyone won't be there all at the same time.

If there's anything that is valuable to you I would put it up for this party. Due to the age of your guests my guess is people will get drunk so better safe than sorry.

Hmm....Try use as much space as you can for example a garden, bedrooms etc. If someone is ready to leave and the house is full but someone has turned up..make a queue. Or you could do the classic trick and take everyone to a club or somewhere Big and Public and Fun!

Jesus! Where has B been living? Under a rock? 30 % ... BWAAAHAHAHAHAHA, I have invited twenty people and had 200 show up. Listen to the first poster he speaks the truth. You need to get yourself at LEAST one bouncer, two is better, three is better than two. Make sure they understand they are not there to beat people up, just to chill people getting out of hand then sit back and enjoy.

get yourself a bouncer. So if someone ruins the party for you, just ask the bouncer to kick em out. And if there are too many people, just ask the bouncer to kick some people out that you dont want at your house.

what you need to do is tell people if they dont ask, they cant come. this way you dont need to invite people, but still have the ability to filter out the crowd. nobody is going to hate you over one party
