How much food for 35 adults and 10 kids? Birthday party, Indian food?!

Question: How much food for 35 adults and 10 kids? Birthday party, Indian food?
I love cooking but has never done a big cooking for 35 adults. So I need your help as to how much food. Better to have left over than not enough.
I'm thinking
5 lbs lamb: lamb curry
5lbs chicken 10 cups basmati rice: Chicken biryani
3lbs lettuse: toss salad
5 lbs vegetable: Vegetable curry

10 bottles red wine 7 bottles white wine

appetizers include: hummus, chips salsa, cheese...open to suggestions

desserts: 5 pies and cookies. Open to suggestions
Thanks

Nice menu. I love humus. How about samosas too? And while on desserts, I love Laddu (did I spell that right?) and Kheer, individual Mango Kufti cup and Orange Sandesh and Poori (although that is nto exactly a dessert). Are you really going to use just 10 cups of basmati rice? How much is that really? We get like 10kg bags of rice here. Ration them into 5kg each time you cook. That should feed 35 people with 2-3 helpings. For takeaways, cook 2nd round of the other 5kg bag. Good luck!

Big extended family
