Shame it's not summer, a friends daughter also wanted to go paint-balling, but couldn't afford it, instead her Mum and Dad bought 'eat today' cakes and bread rolls (all soft), squirty cream, chopped up some over ripe bananas and ... well, you get the idea, cheap + soft + edible, she even made a special tall cake for a 'gag'.

And they had an almighty food fight in the garden.

Her Dad set up a swimming pool and hose so they could clean themselves up.

It was soooo funny, and great fun too.

Another idea is to have your own Movie Première evening.
Get some red carpet (or cloth) and some rope, and make an entry to the house, some guests would play paparazzi some would play actors etc.
Choose a movie that is well liked, it can be old or new, Horror films work well, especially tongue-in-cheek ones, and make sure you have lots of popcorn, Hot dogs etc,
The idea isn't really to quietly watch a film, but to make lots of noise, for instance during a car chase everyone makes "VROOM!" sounds, shooting leads to "BANG! BANG!" Shouting advice at the actors, "DON'T GO IN THERE!" "DON'T DROP THE TORCH!" "LOOK BEHIND YOU!" that kind of thing.

this is your 16th birthday your talking about the most important day of your life. this is the day when you get so much more freedom. celebrate it the way it should be. have a big party and invite all your friends. and have music junk food dancing. and all that.

have everyone come dressed in white and have a paint splatter party. provide different colors of paint probably go outside and go crazy
