Question: Whats the best food for a party?
i am throwing a surprise party for my best friend... she is turning 15 and i am wondering what would be the best food for snacks? ive already thought of chips and lollies but i need some more 'non boring' things. there is roughly 40 people coming so there has to be enough for all... but i also need it to be average priced, as i dont have the biggest budget - thanks

40 people is running up there in expense. I suggest you go to a potluck system and send out a list of required items to the invitees, such as chips and salsa, pop, etc. and put their response on a master list. You could set up an award system and give a prize to the person who brings the best dish. Feeding 40 people is pretty insane... Maybe cook a ham and a turkey and leave the side dishes to the masses to supply... And buy or bake a giant cake of course...
