Hanna, that idea of having a scavenger hunt sounds like fun. Perhaps you can have a scavenger hunt, and then another part of your party where you actually engage in traditional (and still fun) activities, like playing the always-favorite game of Pin the Tail on the Donkey. Here are some other suggestions of entertainment and the sort for parties like yours found on this recipe site:

Remember to be a good host of your party, following these tips, as applicable:

Hope this helps.

The Internet. Just whatever is available online and what I have on my mind, including the inclusion of relevant sites, like the one cited that came into existence thanks to my efforts, which is intended to be useful. Helping people get the relevant info they want is great.
These are really cool ideas. Maybe you could have a clue hunt game where you or your parents set out clues that tell you with a short little rhyme where the next clue is. you could tell the two teams where the first one is and the first team to the final destination wins. you could also have the teams go on different routes of clues(remember to label the clues team 1 and team 2 though) so its not as much chaos, just remember to have the final destination the same place for the two teams. hope this helped.
I did that for my 13th birthday party its really fun and funny when you print out all the pictures. :) HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
i love the scavenger hunt idea! :)
