Is it possible to host your own birthday party?!

i am planning out my birthday party and i was just wondering... is it possible to host your own bday??? like planning your own games and hosting them for example if theres a game having to do with music, you stop and play it yourself and let others play the game... im turning 14 yrs old but most of my friends are older than me and some girls tht i have invited are like 15-19.... i don't have much of a theme just sort of random, i am wearing a dress with tights and my friends will too or just dressy shirts with pants.... do u have any ideas of what i could do to make my party fun and cool.... any game ideas that aren't too long and babyish and tht are meant for older girls.... any ideas would really work plzzzzz ... I cant wait till my party! =)
