What foods to cook at a BBQ?!

Question: What foods to cook at a BBQ?
I'm throwing a BBQ next year July and it's going to be HUGE (at least I'm planning it to). I want to know what foods to cook. I got burgers and hot dogs of course but what else? If you want, you can tell me what drinks and snacks to buy as well.

Answers:

Lamb chops,
Steak / steak sandwiches (which need lettuce, tomato, beetroot, cheese pineapple etc)
pasta salad
Potato salad,
if you want healthy options you can go with a bean salad, baby spinach salad etc.

Sweet corn to grill, marinated chicken wings, Pork chops, or spare ribs
If you want snacks, you can have savoury biscuits with cheese, cabanossi, salami, ham, olives, sundried tomatoes,

There's also plenty of different skewers you could do; chicken, pineapple and capsicum, or prawn skewers, Pork etc.

You don't want to have too much variety, i'd say 4 meats (skewers included) and 4 salads would be enough for a large croud. Just make lots of each.

There are plenty of resources you can turn to. Food network.com, all recipes.com are just 2 of them. You can google for other sources. Ribs or chicken can be precooked in the oven first, and then finished off on the grill. You can also grill veggies like squash, eggplant, and tomatoes. Look up Bobby Flay for grilling goodies. Good luck on you celebration. Am I invited?
