Question: Looking for a menu for a dinner party, any suggestions?

I'm planning on throwing a dinner party for 8-12 guests and I'm having a hard time deciding on what to serve. I'm a good cook, no where near being top chef quality, but good. It will be served "family style". Any suggestions on the menu?

A ham, scalloped potatoes, brussel sprouts in a butter garlic sauce, garden salad w/ various dressings available and dinner rolls....if people don't like brussel sprouts, a broccoli and cauliflower medley w/ cheese sauce.

lasagna - could make 2 medium ones, one with & one without meat
