Question: Need some great ideas on how to celebrate my 30th birthday? Feb.2011.?
At any location, at any price, with as many or as little people. Have you been to an awesome birthday party, or have you done it yourself? I need to start planning something now. So please share. Thanks.

1. I was born in February as well and my best party was Mardi Gras themed. It was a masquerade with lots of purple, gold, and green; beads, baubles, candy, cajun and creole food, king cake, and of course plenty of drinks. In retrospect, an easier way to get my bday debauchery on would have simply been to visit New Orleans. I think Fat Tuesday is in March next year though.

2. I don't know where you live but I also thoroughly enjoyed a weekend in NYC with a few close friends although we were freezing lol. Broadway, fine dining, shopping, and a room at The W. Also, I have a some friends from college who live in Brooklyn that I had not seen in ages, and they were able to join in the festivities and that made it even more special.

3. As badly as my feet are hurting me right now in these too tight shoes, I'd opt for going away to one of those Arizona spas for a few days. Of course I could do the same thing at home, but it always feels better when at a different location. After I arrived back rejuvenated and refreshed, then I'd likely feel more like entertaining and would invite some friends over for dinner, drinks, music, dancing, and laughter. I'd even be up for a murder mystery dinner theme.

Have a Cinco De Mayo Party! They are so great.
