no, im not buying a cake. my mom and i will be making it.
i was thinking something pink, maybe glittery(edible glitter, of course. (: ), maybe a little bit of zebra print?

If you want, you could use chocolate and vanilla cake batter, and since you want pink, just put some red food coloring in the vanilla batter to dye it pink. I highly suggest pouring your batter into the center of the cake tin with a piping bag, it's a lot easier and comes out way better than using a spoon. Choose any kind of icing you like, and any cute sprinkles that you might find (I think I've seen sugar sprinkles that are kind of glittery pink). You could try decorating around the base of the cake with candy or fruit, like chocolate kisses or strawberries.
I've made this before where all I did was get a vanilla betty crocker cake mix, made the batter & separated it into 6 different bowls, then added a different color of food coloring to each bowl of batter. I piped the batter in the center of a circular cake tin, one color at a time, one color on top of the other.
