spumanti and order stemless wine glass that are engraved saying happy birthday with balloons. the glasses are expensive though and for 4 cases of wine is only 131.00. Does anyone have any cheaper ideas for party favors I really don't want to spend like 300-400 dollars and that's what it is looking like. I do need something memorable though. I have these cute gift bags to put it in

Not sure if you are artsy or not but how about buying the plastic champagne glasses and writing Happy Birthday and drawing balloons on them with sharpies. I'd do it for you!

If you live in the North East US and the group is made up of nature lovers, consider a kit to tap maple trees from www.tapmytrees.com. It is a unique and memorable gift.

Disposable cameras (personalized) and a tiny photo album or picture frame?
or check out the Martha Stewart site and see if there's something you can make yourself.

I found you this website where they have promotional custom printed glasses to see if these prices would help you....

Now, that $131.00 for 4 cases of wine would be over $3/bottle. One thing you could do to save some cash would be to make (or buy) truffles and put those inside the glasses and then wrap with clear cello wrap. So, you could still do your personalized glasses which I think is a great idea because they are memorable, but you just have to find something other than that wine to give with your glasses. Candy is inexpensive to make.

Now, Trader Joes has Charles Shaw wine that is $1.99/bottle (and less if you buy them in cases) so you could go with Charles Shaw and for the same amount of wine, it would be less than $72.00 for 4 cases (there's a case discount, but I don't know what it is - 10%???).

But, loading the glasses with candy is another alternative and then wrapping in cello. That would save you a lot of money.

Well, good luck.

Don't bother engraving glasses - who wants one glass anyhow? Make or order really cute (star shaped, colorful, glittery) tags with the person's name and birth date and Happy 60th to put on the bags you are buying.

Instead of spumante, put in Sofia minis http://www.franciscoppolawinery.com/wine… It's a really good sparkling wine made by Coppola Winery. They are super cute - in cans with a straw attached! So you don't need a glass to drink it. You could put 2 in a bag so people can enjoy them with someone else. Now you've saved quite a bit of money and can put in some other goodies. Plus you've eliminated breakable glass.

What is the birthday person into? I'd put in things they would like - don't worry so much about the guests.
