Im having a 40th birthday dinner at a restaurant.Do I pay or pass the check around?

you invite people, you pay
Everyone pays for their own share, but make sure people know that when you invite them, ask the restaurant to separate the bill so there are no arguments... but I'm betting you won't have to pay for your meal.. :)
Make the intentions be known that it is DUTCH & you'll be surprised when the check comes...They won't let you pay for your meal.
Are you rich? If not then tell everyone you would love for them to join you but that it is buy your own.
