sun science fair project?!
is it possible to "toast" something by leaving it in direct sunlight for long enough (maybe with a magnifying glass or aluminum foil)?
For example: a piece of toast? or a marshmallow?

with a magnifying glass?- for sure
with aluminum foil- you'd probably be able to heat something but the surface of aluminum foil is probably not going to be smooth enough to concentrate reflected sun rays in a small enough area to "toast" or burn something. just leaving something in direct sunlight would not get hot enough to get toasted but you might want to look into the bleaching or drying effects that this can have on things.
