Twins are a LOT of work... =/ My father and his wife recently had twins and they're having a hard time... Plus they make good money and they've raised children before, that just goes to show how challenging it will be.

Giving birth to twins isn't all that different from giving birth to one... It's not even "twice the work", it just means you have to push two out instead of one.

They don't really let you choose to have a c-section unless there's a medical reason as to why you can't give birth... And a c section costs anywhere from $15,000 or more, which I'm sorry but I don't think you can afford that... That's like the price of a new car or crappy tiny house, and for something that you can do for FREE. Just get an epidural if you're worried about pain, it costs only 1-2000 usually... Or maybe 5000, I wouldnt know.

But usually doctors prefer C-sections with multiple births...

The cost really depends on where you live, here in Canada, health care is free... If you live in the states, then you have to pay up.

But yeah, C-section isn't an option unless you're willing to pay more than 15,000... It costs more if it's elective I believe. You have to give birth naturally, unless your doctors tell you that you need one...
But if that's not the case, then just take the drugs, it's cheap, and once you get your epidural you won't feel a damn thing.

AND as for school... I would say that you could still do your senior year, but with TWINS, you will no have the time... Take a year off school and come back when they're older. Or get your GED... Or even try online or send-in courses. You'll likely have to stay at home with them, child care is extremely expensive especially with more than one baby... Hopefully you can get help from friends and family.

I'm 16 too, I'm planning to be a stay at home mother until my little one is a year old which is when I plan to work... My boyfriend has a fulltime job, he's already graduated from high school. We have an apartment, and I'm planning on giving birth naturally. I have no problems with money, or time.. If I can do it without problems (so far aha), you can too... It will just be a little more work.

They usually deliver twins through a C-section. If you want to know how much twins will cost just make a list of all the baby stuff you'll need with one baby and then x's it by 2. You will be able to do your senior year if you can find a sitter most people your age who get pregnant do home schooling or GED just because it's easier on them. Good Luck and Congrats!

Also 25 weeks prego and 19.

Your doctor will tell you when you are a little closer to your due date if you need a c-section, you probably will. Just having one baby naturally cost a few grand though. you should try to get insurance though your state if your parents don't cover you on theirs. If that's not an option, hospitals will put you on a payment plan. About school, it will depend on how much help you get from friends and family. It will be very hard but you can do it. Hope everything goes good for you and your babies.

Its great that your bf is being great, kudos to him for not backing out. Now for you, try to find a teen mom support group either in your town or online. Talking to other teens in your situation would be really helpful and make it less scarey.
As for a c-section, that will be up to your dr.
As for senior year, if you are super concerned you can always home school your final year, there are alot of great options online for this and most also give access to lots of counselors and other home schooled kids. You wouldn't fall behind at all.

Congrats and good luck!

It will be hard but you can do it! Follow your doctor's advice and stay healthy. Aim for a natural birth but keep all of your options open. Do you have health insurance? If not, see if you can apply for medicaid.

You need to find someone you can talk to about this in person. How about your mom or another adult female? There is too much information that you need to know and you won't find all of it in Yahoo Answers.

My friend gave birth to twins and she had one natural and 1 c-section, she would rather have the baby natural. Either way my dear, it's going to hurt, but listen to your doctors.

AS a mom of twins you can kiss any life that you may have had good-bye!

Chances are they will be delivered via C Section - they cost? You really don't want to know -

Troll. A day ago you asked a question and stated you were due in 6 weeks.

Find something better to do with your time. Seriously.
