We don't cake for birth days,any ideas for something other then cake for a ten year old?!

As a kid i didn't like cake either and still don't but in my youth my mom would always make cookie sheets and write the happy birthday detailing in colored frosting - we loved it ! and would commonly mix of flavors.. chocolate chip, m&m, sugar, peanut butter, etc. If its a girl, maybe let them make it themselves with your help at the party - I remember really enjoying that !

how about a giant cookie "cake?" or an ice cream cake - ice cream in cake tins (maybe add mix ins), freeze, and frost! no need for actual cake!
Who says people have to eat massive amounts of sugar ever? Obesity kills 100's of 1000's of people a year, eep.
