SUPER EASY QUESTION: Is it too early to start planning a birthday party that will be on May 7?!

Question: SUPER EASY QUESTION: Is it too early to start planning a birthday party that will be on May 7?
I'll probably get invitations out between April 11-22.
Is it too early to start planning? My birthday is May 2 (which is a monday). I would do my birthday Saturday, April 30th, but I'm planning a lot of outdoor activties and I assume the weather will be nicer on Saturday, May 7th.

Haha, thanks:)

Answers:

Not at all.
My daughter's birthday is May 28 and I always book her venue in the fall to ensure that I get the date and time that I want.
Good venues/activities book up really quickly. I can't tell you how many birthday parties my daughter goes to that are at 9am on a Sunday (!!!) because Mom and Dad left booking to the last minute.

Whether it's too early or not depends on where the party is going to be, who is invited, and whether you need to get any businesses or volunteers involved.

For instance, if the party is at your house and all you'll have is a cake and some friends from school, it's probably too early.

But if you want the party to be held on a boat you think you can rent, with a magician riding a pony, and you will be inviting people who live hundreds of miles away, then it's not too early at all!

You can NEVER assume the weather is going to be good. You need to hope for the best but plan for the worst, get me?! It would be nice to know where you live. I live in Southern California and my birthday is May 5, I've found over the years it seems that it is usually, but not always, cool and sometimes gloomy. Last year just happened to be clear and sunny which was nice. I'd say have the party closer to your birthday, because you have a 50/50 chance on the weather, just be prepared for poor weather.

I'd wait another week to send out invites and don't forget to request an RSVP by a certain date.

It's not too early to start planning; it can take awhile to get your guest list together and iron out the details.

its never to early to start planning :) keep an eye on the forecast though!

Plan now and mail on the 11th

no it never to early or late
