is it cheaper to buy a catered buffet style seafood for a wedding or per plate?!
this will be done in PR on the beach & in the summer.. It for up to 250 people I think. maybe less and names of any vendors if possible!

In almost any case, it is usually cheaper to have a buffet. Plus, your guests will have more variety and they will be able to eat as much as they'd like...I've been to a few plated receptions and left hungry every time!
