Question: We're celebrating my mom's birthday tonight and I want to make a fancy dinner for her. Any suggestions?
the 29th is my moms birthday, but we're celebrating it tonight. We have her presents and the cake, but not a dinner. Anny suggestions on what I can make her for dinner tonight? She gets home at 5 so it needs to be done by then :)

What ingredients do you have?
Here is a great chicken recipe if you have chicken. If not, let us know and we can give more suggestions.

If you have chicken breast this works best but any pieces will work. Make a breading of crushed croutons (or ritz crackers or seasoned bread crumbs). Add in a little bit of garlic powder, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning and salt & pepper. Dip chicken pieces/strips in a beaten egg and then coat with breading. Place in the bottom of a greased casserole dish. Pour a can of spaghetti sauce over the chicken. Top each piece with a slice of mozzarella or Monterrey jack cheese. Bake at 350 until chicken is cooked through (about 40 minutes or so). Place each piece of chicken on a bed of cooked spaghetti. Serve with a salad and pillsbury crescent rolls.

Any type of pasta!! You can also put the pasta in a dish and throw cheese on top and bake it for awhile--sooo yummy! Happy birthday to your mom!!
