I would like to have a cocktail party for ten. I want to serve mixed drinks of course,?!
a variety of heavy appetizers, a.k.a. hors d'oeuvres and canapés (in place of dinner). I need some new and fresh ideas. I want this party to be extra special. What are some of the latest drinks and appetizers, etc.?

Fruity fun colored martini's are really in. Get the mix where all you add is the vodka! Those taste the best and are the easiest to make. Make sure you have enough glasses for everyone to drink out of the same style glass (a whole room of mis-matched glassware looks tacky) You could even make a chocolate martini.. SO good.
As for appetizers, Bacon wrapped water chestnuts, meatballs, cheese and cracker trays, fondue would be great!
