Its supposed to cost low because were starting to have money problems...

I just want to have a good time with my friends...

I do not want a party cause I want to try something new...

Answers: Just do a movie night at your house.
Rent a movie or two and invite friends over.
Pop popcorn and serve hot dogs, chips, and soda.
That won't break the bank and it will be fun. a backyard bbq is always good. buy some hamburger patties, brats, and some hot dogs. buy a few bags of chips, some sodas, a pan of spaghetti, and a few cold salads and some corn and baked beans. that's a party all day long especially if Mom makes all the stuff herself instead of buying it already prepared. and really all you need is some good music to make the party really hot. don't forget the birthday cake.

cold salads- pasta salad, tuna or chicken salad, potato salad, cole slaw, and macaroni salad. You could have a bonfire at night and roast marshmallows and talk with some friends, or take like 3 really close friends to a movie and then afterward go to your house for cake and then just hang out for awhile. If it is at the beginning of August, you could go to the beach [if you live by one] and just hang out there going to your house for cake afterward. Last year for my 'sweet 16' in August, I just took my best friend to Chuck E' Cheese since I wasn't aloud to have a party since my brother was having a party for no reason...so yeah, maybe you could even ask your friends for ideas of what to do. Hey, my sister's birthday is in August, too! Well, what you can do is decorate the room with tons of balloons and streamers. Make it all pretty and party-like (you can get it from dollar stores). And instead of having a party, you can bake a cake together with your friends and decorate it with lots of different colors and make other sweets together.

You can also play a variety of games, like water-balloon fights, pinatas, and other ordinary games.

Well, I know it's a little early but Happy Birthday! happy early birthday. to keep cost low, do food dishes that can be strecthed to feed a crowd. like a fiesta birthday party. do tacos, chips salsa, and iced tea.pop.of course cake and ice cream for dessert.
i hope you have a very happy sweet 16 I don't know where you live, but in OK we have Dollar Tree stores where everything costs $1 or less. Great place to get the decorations, plates, food, etc. Go for easy foods like hot dogs/hamburgers. Maybe have everyone bring a CD or DVD and either listen to music or watch movies with popcorn and snacks. Happy Birthday and enjoy yourself.
