don't worry I never forget dessert I'm making cheesecake, strawberry shortcake and brownies for the kids. Sounds like a great BBQ. You have got all the making's, just don't over kill, unless your planning on having an army. The only thing I see missing is, cut up fruit watermelon, cantelope, ect. How about a dessert? Don't forget the homemade mac & cheese; not that box Kraft junk! do the chicken. and when should i show up???????? i love bbq's! sides could be some macaroni salad, and don't forget dessert! if you want a variety of desserts, ask each of your guests to bring one. yes do the chicken too! you can never have to much meat at a BBQ
And can I come? Don't forget to slice and grill some sweet peppers for the sausage. How about some veggie options for the non-meat eaters. As I vegetarian I always appreciate when the host has an offering for me. If I know the menu is all carnivorous I bring tofu dogs, or faux chicken...what ever goes with the rest of the menu. Shishkabobs are always a big hit too! corn on the cob.. just get sweet corn rub some butter on it.. completely wrap it with foil wrap. bbq on low heat turning occationally... It good. trust me. there never such a thing as to much anything at a bbq ! LOL!
corn on the cob with chili ,lime, butter and parmesan cheeese on it wrappped in tinfoil and grill! and grilled veggies! my company loves these and you can do any kind squash ,eggplant , zucchini! portabella mushrooms ! yummmy now i'm hungry ! well hope this helps and good luck ! Baked beans ,garlic bread ,vinnagrette pasta salad. love grilled chicken i say go for it :) make some yummy strawberry cheesecake for dessert :) A cool fruit salad and baked beans would be nice. I don't think you would need the chicken with all the other things. id let the chicken go.... its your time to relax too!! just make sure you have some brownies and cookies on hand!
and
watermelon and grapes and easy fruits to cool down with. What about an antipasto salad. Salami, Mozzerella, kalamaa olives, and pasta. Or omit the salami and make it a vegetarian antipasto. also a cru de te tray would be nice. I would have the following if it was my party, but you fix what you like:

Hamburgers
Hotdogs and sausage
Chicken (For those that don't do red meat)
BBQ beans
Corn on the Cob
Potato Salad
Coleslaw
Some kind of pasta or green salad
Crusty Bread

Dessert

Fresh Fruit Salad
Cookies or Brownees for the kids
Cheesecake or another dessert

Lemon lime soda with fruit punch or pinapple and orange juice- yummo Try this!!!!

Hawaiian Shrimp
Shrimp, pineapple, bacon, cherry tomatoes, and green bell peppers are skewered and grilled with a sweet and sour basting sauce for a tropical touch at any barbeque.

INGREDIENTS
2 pounds medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 (20 ounce) cans pineapple chunks, juice reserved
1/2 pound bacon slices, cut into 2 inch pieces
2 large green bell peppers, chopped
2 cups cherry tomatoes
1 cup sweet and sour sauce
skewers
DIRECTIONS
Preheat grill for high heat.
Thread shrimp, pineapple, bacon, green bell peppers, and cherry tomatoes on skewers, alternating ingredients. Place in a shallow baking dish. In a small bowl, mix sweet and sour sauce with reserved pineapple juice. Reserve a small amount for basting. Pour remaining sauce over skewers.
Lightly oil grill grate. Cook kabobs on preheated grill for 6 to 8 minutes, or until opaque, basting often with reserved sauce. Try a fruit salad or something refreshing like that. Also, make sure you have plenty of drinks! Veggies and Dill Dip
Homemade Dill Dip
1 cup mayo
1 cup sour cream
1/4 (or a little more) cup tightly packed fresh dill, chopped
1/4 cup chopped green onion
1 clove garlic
mix together and chill for a few hours to let flavors blend. Serve with bell pepper strips, cherry tomatoes, broccoli, carrots, celery, caulifower

Fruit Skewers and Fruit Dip
Fruit Dip
1 jar marshmallow fluff
1 8 oz container of spreadable cream cheese.
Mix together.
Make skewers of fruit with pineapple, watermelon, strawberries, grapes, cantaloupe, honeydew, kiwi chunks, etc. Thread onto bamboo skewers and lay them out on a platter with a bowl of the fruit dip.

These are both so easy and people will rave!

And yes make the chicken. Have a great time!!!!!!!!! Sounds like a great party to me. Wish I could be there.
