Question:

Does anyone know any basic recipes for a dinner that involves mince?

I am cooking dinner and I don't know what to make with mince!

Answers: One basic all american dish is meatloaf.

2 lbs minced beef, 1 cup seasoned bread crumbs, 1 egg, salt, pepper, dark soy sauce (yes, serious), tomato paste.

mix in bread crumbs with minced beef, slowly, with hands or a mixing spoon, break the egg and mix that in, put in 1 tsp of salt, ground pepper, 1 tblspn soy.

mix together until ingredients are combined thoroughly, but do not over mix, otherwise the meatloaf will be tough.

put into a loaf pan, top with tomato paste, cover top of load completely with the paste. This seals in the juices.

preheat oven to 375deg

bake for 45 min - 1 hour when done.

cut into 8 slices (4 servings), serve with mashed potatoes

Serve left overs when sliced and pan fried for a meatloaf sandwich - serve in a toasted bun with sliced tomato and lettuce. yum!!!! Source(s):
my own recipe Check here:
http://www.reddevonbeef.co.uk/store/inde... Mince is anything cut in a very fine dice or you may be asking about mince meat. That is normally a combination of finely diced fruits. Most people make pies with them traditionally at Christmas. A basic recipe would be a mince meat pie...the double crust type , like a Cherry or apple. Try some of these they are great.

Lasagna, Spagetti bolonase, Taco's, or make a curry recipie and substitute other meat for mince.
