http://www.gourmet-food-revolution.com/b... Scotcharoos (they're like a peanut butter rice krispie bar with chocolate/butterscotch frosting, to die for)

In a large pot on your stove over medium heat bring the following to a gentle boil:
1 Cup of Sugar
1 Cup of Light Corn Syrup (Karo)
When they have come to a slow boil stir in
1 1/2 cups of smooth peanut butter
Let the PB melt, remove from heat and stir in
6 Cups of Rice Krispies
Mix well and put into a 9x13 pan, smooth out top, let cool
When cool, on your stove in a small sauce pan, LOW heat melt 1/2 bag of chocolate chips and 1/2 bag of butterscotch chips together. Cover the bars with the chocolate mix and smooth out and let cool. Can't go wrong with fruit and chocolate. have chochlate cake with white icing it is the best!!! I just submitted this idea to someone else. It's super easy, requires no cooking time and is fresh and simple...

Red, White and Blue Strawberry Appetizer

Ingredients

- 12 each fresh strawberries
- 24 each fresh blueberries
- 1/2 cup (4 oz) yogurt or filling of choice

Directions

Select 12 good quality stawberries and slice each stawberry in half. The green leaves can be kept on the berry or removed if desired.
Use a melon ball scoop to remove the center of each half slice of the strawberry and set prepared berries aside.
Fill each scooped half slice of strawberry with approximately 1 teaspoon of yogurt or any white filling desired, such as a fruit dip, custard, pudding, or whipped topping.
Top each filling with a blueberry and serve or chill to be served when ready.

I found it on this website below, which has a picture of what it looks like... Good luck!! Make this because it is easy:

Mix up and bake your favorite cake mix or recipe. Let cool.

Slice 1 cup of strawberries, set aside. Halve remaining strawberries, set aside.

Top cake (in pan) with 1 cup sliced strawberries, 1 cup blueberries and all of the whipped topping. Arrange remaining strawberry halves and blueberries on whipped topping to create a flag design. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Fruit is always good for summer.
I'm making Blackberry crisp. Fresh Strawberries, Whipped Cream, and sponge (or pound) cake.

Slice the strawberries and add some sugar (or Splenda), spoon over sponge cake, top with whipped cream, serve...

Easy Breezy and Quite Tasty... cookies made w/ cake batter. I can't remember where I saw the recipe, but it's probably on the Duncan Hines or Betty Crocker website. Funfetti cookies are great, especially w/ a light glaze on the top! Chocolate Mousse
1 Qt. of heavy whipping cream
2 cups of dark chocolate
4 T. confectioner's sugar

Melt the chocolate in a double boiler.
Chill a large metal mixing bowl or the bowl of a Kitchen Aide
Chill the beaters or beater bar
Carefully warm 1 cup of the whipping cream
Using a spoon, mix the warm cream into the warm chocolate a small amount at a time--if it thickens up a bit--don't worry--keep adding the cream and stirring the whole time. Leave mixture in double boiler but turn the heat off.

Pour cold heavy cream into chilled bowl, add confectioner's sugar and beat until firm--do not over beat or you will get butter.

Using a spatula, fold the chocolate into the cream in four parts, until well mixed. Some white streaks may still be in the mousse but don't worry about that--just don't over mix and knock all of the air out of the whipped cream. Put in chilled glasses or bowls for at least 2 hours or the day before. Sprinkle with toasted almonds.

This should take no more than 30-45 minutes to accomplish.
Note: Vanilla or Almond Extract are two flavorings that can be added to the whipped cream before the chocolate--don't over do it, tho.
