How long is Jell-O good for?!

Question:

How long is Jell-O good for?

lol... This may seem to be a very odd question, but some friends and I will be making Jell-O shots/shooters (Jell-O made with 1/2 cup of alcohol) for this weekend. We can either make them today, 4 days ahead, or make them the day of. And we may have leftover shooters that would be left in the fridge. So... We know the Jell-O has to sit for 3-4 hours or so, and we know they have expiration dates, but after you have made the Jell-O, is there a time period that you should consume it in? Will it taste any different between the day of and 4 days later? What about a week or two later? And would the addition of alcohol in the mix have any effect on this window of opportunity, if any?

Answers: We made jello shooters generally the day before the use of them because of the alcohol. In everyday life, jello generally lasts about a week. Hope this helps and have fun and be safe. Its good for about a week and a half. You'll know if its expired by the taste. Have fun! I don't know. I've had jello in the fridge for almost 2 weeks but, no alcohol.
