Please tell me the best way to bake potatoes.?

I can tell you how I make mine,

wash them , poke a few holes in them with a fork. Place them on a cookie sheet...as many as I can fit.

Bake at 400 for about an hour to 1 1/2 hrs..
Take them out let them cool for a bit,
slice them in half length wise
scoop out most of the potato, using a ice cream scoop
Put filling in the mixer, add butter, milk, garlic powder, salt , pepper ....mix until mashed the way you like them....add a bunch of cheddar cheese...shredded.
refill the potato shell with the mashed mixture
add extra cheddar cheese on top..
bake an extra 10 minutes to melt cheese
OR you can put what you aren't going to use immediately in freezer bag, I like to use the snack bags,,,put them in the freezer.
When you want to eat them..take um out of the freezer and pop them in the microwave for 1-2 minutes and yum...
I make tons of them and keep them handy in the freezer for quick snacks or so i can throw a dinner together with ease on busy nights.
