Low fat, lo cal, but tasty dips for veggies??!

Question:

Low fat, lo cal, but tasty dips for veggies??

Need some fresh new inspirations! I typically mix in fancy spice mixes and some minced scallions or garlic into lite sour cream. Allergic to all seafood and hate bean dip!

Answers:

Here's a recipe for veggie dip that tastes like the real thing, but with out the fat and calories.

1 - 16 ounce container fat free cottage cheese
1 pack hidden valley ranch mix (dressing or dip)

Put cottage cheese in blender and blend until completely smooth. Pour into a bowl. Add pack of Hidden valley ranch mix. Cover, and refridgerate overnight so the powder has time to disolve.

CREAMY COTTAGE DIP (LOW CALORIE
RECIPE)

Beat one 12 oz. carton (1 1/2) cups cottage cheese, not creamed, 6 tablespoons skim milk, 1 1/2 teaspoons instant minced onion, and 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt with mixer. Stir in 1 tablespoon finely chopped canned pimiento and 1 tablespoon snipped parsley. Chill. Makes 1 3/4 cups. Good on baked potato too.
