Can I use oil instead of butter? Heres the directions from the box:?

In a frying pan brown rice/pasta mixture in 2.5 tblspoons tub margarine or butter until pasta is light brn. now can i use oil in replacement?

or i have PAM as well should i use that?


Answers:

You sure can. Margarine is just solidified vegetable oil, so any oil to brown the rice is fine. Try olive oil. It will give it a great flavor.
