Do you have a recipe to share that your Mom or Grandma used to make?!

Question:

Do you have a recipe to share that your Mom or Grandma used to make?

My Mom passed away 8 years ago this Wednesday, and unfortunately, I didn′t get a lot of her recipes-she didn′t write them down.

I′m making something Wednesday to remind me of her, but want to start collecting old, tried and true, recipes of my own to pass down through generations.

Answers:

My Oma use to make Zucchini Bread. She use to make it all summer long with the zucchini that came from our garden. She passed away two years ago and I miss her every day but this recipe makes me remember her.

3 eggs
1 cup of oil
1 1/2 cup of sugar
2 cups shredded zucchini
2 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups of sifted flour
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
2 teaspoon baking soda
3 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup raisins
1 cup chopped nuts

You preheat the oven to 375.

Beat the eggs lightly, stir in the oil sugar and zucchinis and vanilla. Sift the flour, baking soda and powder and cinnamon and salt. Stir into the egg mixture. Stir in the rasins and nuts. Bake it for 45 -50 minutes.
